This stele is dedicated to the "shadow combatants" of the 1939-1945 war: Biggi Antoine and Marini Laurent, shot by the Nazis on July 06, 1944.

They were two young patriots from Manosque, members of the 10th FTP company, arrested by surprise at a German roadblock near the old cemetery and immediately executed on July 06, 1944.
