Every second Sunday in October, the town of Oraison is decked out in the colours, scents and flavours of almonds, for the not-to-be-missed event for lovers of this nutty fruit.

With the arrival of autumn, which corresponds to the almond harvest, Oraison welcomes, as it does every year, all the players in the sector (producers, processors, consumers) to celebrate this delicious fruit with undeniable nutritional virtues.
The association's ambition is to give back to Provence the place it deserves in almond production.

On October 9th, the association La Fête de l'Amande will celebrate its 15th anniversary!

A festive Sunday
The entire town centre will be made pedestrian-friendly so that you can rediscover the pleasure of walking, strolling and enjoying all the different areas in complete peace and quiet. An opportunity to get to know all the facets of this nut around culinary workshops, educational or gastronomic stands.
The Fileuses d'Oraison, dressed in Provencal costume, will help you rediscover the ancestral gestures of breaking almonds with an iron or a stone and will offer you the fruits of their labour.
